“The Nerdy Girl Turns into a Hottie Chick” is written by Mjlovesberry13 and tells the story of Anette (Inah Estrada) a well-known fashion magazine entrepreneur and her persistent suitor Zane (Akihiro Blanco).
Out to prove her self-worth, Anette, who was once a bullied nerdy girl pushed herself to become a well-established woman looked up to by many for both her beauty and confidence. But just as when she thinks she has finally outgrown her once ”bullied and old self”, here comes the guy from her past whom she hated so much since she was young – Zane (Akihiro Blanco). This time, Zane is determined to go after her and fulfill the promise he left -her, that he will marry her at the right time. Adding to Anette’s dilemma is the fact that their marriage has already been agreed upon by their parents even before they were both born.
How can Anette possibly love this guy despite the fact that when Zane promised “the old Anette” that he would come back for her, Anette found out that Zane already had a girlfriend. Zane is now determined to win back Anette but “the new Anette” is also determined to make Zane give up on her. Who will prevail —the naive Nerdy Girl who’s still inside Anette or the Hottie Chick that she is now?
